SHOULD CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS BE BANNED FROM FACEBOOK?
Facebook is undoubtedly the most visited website ever,even bypassing search engine giants,Google.
Even though facebook minimum age requirements is 13 years,we cannot deny that even 7 yr-olds are on facebook.LOL.
It's not like the facebook team can check everyone's birth certificates which makes children to use a false age to access the site.
Children under 18 years are found facebooking most of the time chatting with friends,commenting on photos and so many more.
Honestly,there are a few teenagers who use facebook for project work,school event planning and homework help.But how many are they anyway?
The question now is,should children under 18 years be banned?
In my opinion,children under 18 years should be banned from facebook because of the following reasons:
1.DISTRACTION FROM SCHOOL WORK.
2.WASTE OF TIME.
3.IDENTITY THEFT AND LACK OF CONTROL.
4.RISK OF BEING BULLIED.
5.SUSCEPTIBLE TO INTERNET FRAUD AND SCAMS.
6.RISK OF BEING HARMED BY PEDOPHILES.
On the other hand,banning children from facebook completely will make their curious minds to resort to some bad and porn sites.
And afterall,it is a social network,therefore it's meant for everyone to make new friends and learn from others.

No, being under 18 is not that big of a deal, children are growing up realy fast and understand the world. Well not of them, but I'm 13 and have seen as much of life as 18 year olds. Life is like that, we all differ from eachother it doesn't matter what age you are.

People at 13 should be banned from the internet unless accompanied by a parent or guardian period.Please visit 2ezasia Website.
I believe there should be different sections in FB:
1)Year 3+4+5+6 (7-11)
2)Year 7+8+9+10+11 (11-16)
3)Anyone older
...People should still be able to talk to people in other sections and add them as friends etc. but with different security restrictions. This could include:
-certain amount of mutual friends
-(For section 1) If parents are on FB, parents consent needed from their FB account/email
-Limited access to apps/pages/groups etc.
-AND MUCH MUCH MORE.
This would resolve a lot of problems but not all... :)
